Parents & Little Potters

A pottery workshop for parents and little potters to explore working with clay and bring their imagination into the physical world. Taught by an experienced tutor.

What: A handbuilding session in our pottery studio. Taught by an experienced tutor you’ll both learn basic hand building techniques and make anything from animal figurines to coffee cups. As well as your child, you get to make something which we’ll glaze and fire for you. It might be your new favourite mug.

Price: £80 for an adult + child ticket. Extra children added for £25.

What’s included: Unlimited clay during the session. At the end you’ll both pick your favourite piece which the studio will dry, glaze (clear glaze) and fire for you. We have aprons for you and the little potters.

Times: 10am-12pm. Most Fridays during August and some Saturday/Sundays.

Age range: This workshop is aimed at parents and children aged 4-9, however if you wish to bring a child who’s older than this then please feel free.

Work Collection: Roughly 4-6 weeks after the workshop you’ll receive an email

Tutors: These sessions are led by our teachers Regina and Ella.

Child Supervision: All our tutors are Enhanced DBS checked but for this workshop we require parents/responsible adults to remain with the children for the duration of the session.
