All levels are welcome. Our trademark small class sizes means you’ll get tonnes of 1-1 tuition and develop your skills whether a total beginner or intermediate looking to level up.

With 4 hours of guided practice each day, there's time make real progress at the wheel at your own pace.

2 Day Throwing Course

(All Levels)

Deep dive into throwing (1.5 days throwing and half a day trimming)

  • Explore multiple different forms from mugs to bowls to vases.

  • Tailoring the session to your level, we’ll make sure you feel the progression over the 2 days of throwing.

  • Trimming some of your work from day 1. Foot rings and different treatments

  • Opportunity to attach handles

4 Day Throwing Course

(All Levels)

3 full throwing days and 1 full trimming/handles etc

  • If you’re new to pottery, you’ll cement your ability at the wheel and feel your proficiency soar from day 1-4.

  • Tailored to the group, there will be lots of tutor demos for cylinders, bowls, vases, plates, lidded jars etc for both beginners and intermediates.

  • Experienced potters who may have reached a plateau will be able to step up to the next level. 18 hrs at the wheel under the guidance of an experienced tutor does amazing things.

  • Clay preparation

  • Trimming your work from day 1, 2 and 3. Foot rings and different treatments.

  • Development of a small body of work (if desired!)

  • Option to explore slip decoration
